Retrofitting Electronic Ballasts

Retrofit Scheduling

Replacing ballasts is a much more costly proposition than simply replacing lamps, so you should consider all possible scenarios.

Wholesale Retrofit. If running lights more than eight hours a day, it may be most cost-effective to perform a wholesale retrofit, replacing all magnetic ballasts at one time.

Group Replacements. Working through your facility area by area is a cost-effective option, if you know that ballasts throughout the building are approaching the end of their rated lives (usually 15 to 20 years). You will be able to take advantage of volume discounts and reduced labor costs without the immediate expense of a wholesale retrofit.

Individual Replacements. Ballasts can be replaced as they fail if your facility uses very few fixtures and cannot benefit from a volume purchase discountˇX or if you are using ballasts of widely varying ages, and do not want to ˇ§give upˇ¨ the useful life left in many of them.

SAVE IT EASY® This new innovative product can take the hassle out of replacing traditional ballasts with its easy to fit clip on mechanism. This is a premier hassle-free alternative when you need an easy solution to your retrofitting needs.
